Holiday Support Program

Polk County Sheriff's Office Christmas Assistance Program announcement.

Sheriff Tim Wright wants to make sure everyone has a Merry Christmas. Did you know the Polk County Sheriff’s Office offers Christmas Assistance? Our Christmas Assistance program helps families in need of financial support by providing gifts (toys and/or clothing) to the children (newborn to 18 y.o.) of Polk County. 


* If you need assistance or would like to support the program, please reach out to Cindy Wicklund or stop by the office for more information.


*Applicants must not be receiving financial/Christmas assistance from Polk DSS, Steps to HOPE, or Outreach (Thermal Belt Outreach). At Polk County Sheriff’s Office, we want to make sure everyone has a fair and equal opportunity to a Merry Christmas. An individual may be disqualified from the Christmas Assistance program if they are receiving Christmas assistance from the former organizations.
