New PCSO Newsletter - Digital & Print

 

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is now producing a monthly digital and print newsletter “POLK COUNTY SHERIFF,” to keep our communities up to date with the most recent public safety, crime, community, and educational happenings in our county. 


Each edition provides the previous month’s crime and activity statistics, covers stories regarding the operations of the Sheriff’s Office over the preceding month, and provides information on upcoming events in the community!

Rabies: $10 (Equines also)

DA2PP & FVRCP: $20

Microchips: $10


**Must have proof of current rabies vaccine for a 3 year vaccine.

Dogs must be on a harness or slip leash. No neck collars with snap leads allowed.


Spay.Neuter Vouchers available for those who have government assistance (food stamps, Medicaid) or proff of low income.

*In accordance with NC General Statute 130A-185, all dogs, cats and ferrets must be kept currently vaccinated against rabies. Although it is not required by law, horses should be kept currently vaccinated also.

*Pursuant to Polk County Ordinances, you can be cited for NOT having required rabies vaccination of dogs and cats: $100 and/or NOT wearing vaccination tag and certification: $100.
