Polk County has partnered with Everbridge to implement its Community Notification System to alert residents in real-time (via Text, Email, Voice, and Web) for localized emergency situations and relevant community advisories.
As a resident, there are several simple ways to register:
1. Click on the "Sign Up!" button below on the news ticker.
2. Text your ZIPCODE or POLKNC to 888777 from your mobile phone.
Once registered, residents will receive a confirmation text to their mobile device. Residents may also customize their alert settings by going to https://member.everbridge.net/565565588504592/login and creating a User Profile.
